Pictures of Places I’ve been to Challenge

I saw this post from Facebook last year and I thought of posting the same on my blog.

The challenge says, “post a picture of some landscape from a place where you have been, where the main requirement is that you do NOT appear in it. Just a picture, no description.”

“The goal is to flood profiles with landscape photos to give a twist on the situation we’re going through.”

“Copy the text to your status, post a photo and let’s travel virtually around the world.”

I’m sharing a few pictures taken by family members. Some were taken either by a co-worker or from the website.

Where to go before the Holiday Season Ends

entrance

Most families are taking advantage of the holiday season to have a special bonding time with the family. And it was a good thing that there are a lot of attractions the family can go to during this time of year. Here are a few of my picks:

1. Manila Ocean Park – a haven in the city. Bring a long the little ones and make the whole family feel closer to the ocean and all its colorful and interesting creatures. Best bits to try: the Oceanarium, the Snow Village and the Sea Lion show.

2. StarCity – this amusement park is open for a limited time only, usually during the holiday season. Apart from experiencing all the thrilling and exhilarating rides, you and the family can also try out to experience snow for the first time.

3. SM North Edsa Christmas Village – a series of houses showcasing the spirit of Christmas. I bet the little ones would love to roam around this colorful village.

The entrance fee to these great places won’t cost that much.

Wherever you decide to go, remember that the family that travels and explore together, stays together!

Our Manila Ocean Park adventure

We were finally able to use the complimentary tickets from Ocean Park courtesy of PJI. The tickets are limited to Oceanarium visit. But we’re fine with it because they’re free. 🙂

Just before we entered the building, I’ve got a little reminder from my daughter to limit taking pictures inside the Oceanarium as I might not enjoy the view. But I couldn’t help it. It’s not everyday that we get to see those beautiful marine creatures.

We went further to see the aquarium tunnel where we had a full view of various species of fishes in all shapes and sizes. We were awed by the sight of stingrays that swim above our heads and at the sides. We even had photos of them at the background. They are truly a wonderful God’s creation.

We stayed for a while in the area (I guess it’s the back side of the Ocean Park) where we had our first family selfie with the Manila Bay as backdrop.

We also checked out a few items at the shopping area. I bought an eco bag as souvenir. We ate dinner at North Park Noodle House (no available picture to show because we were too hungry to take one) before we head home. It was indeed another enjoyable and memorable day for the family.

Our next adventure, hopefully, will be at the Star City. Remember that we still have the ride-all-you-can tickets, still courtesy of PJI. Yay!
