A fellow reporter from the Philippine Star and I (with People’s Journal at the time) were sent to cover a health program in behalf of the Department of Health (DOH) in Legazpi City, Albay, Bicol Region. It was in the mid-1990s.  These are the only good shots I was able to keep of Mt. Mayon.
