I saw this post from Facebook last year and I thought of posting the same on my blog.
The challenge says, “post a picture of some landscape from a place where you have been, where the main requirement is that you do NOT appear in it. Just a picture, no description.”
“The goal is to flood profiles with landscape photos to give a twist on the situation we’re going through.”
“Copy the text to your status, post a photo and let’s travel virtually around the world.”
I’m sharing a few pictures taken by family members. Some were taken either by a co-worker or from the website.
With the rollout of the COVID19 vaccines in the country, we are hopeful that we may experience a certain level of “normalcy†in the next few months. The idea of going back to activities that we loved excites us. We can somehow start planning the trips that have been canceled a year ago, including the itinerary for summer vacation.

It makes us feel good to make plans for the summer. So what we want to do when we can safely move? When it is okay to travel, my daughter plans to bring our family to the less crowded beach where we can take advantage of a beautiful day strolling on the seaside. We were stuck at home for most of the year, so a beach plan is something that makes us feel better.
We don’t have a place in mind yet. But for now, we’re checking on essentials to bring for the weekend getaway. Aside from food, I want to secure one piece swimsuits for myself and my daughter. We are unsure about the swimming part, but it’s fine to bring one. Modest swimwear will work for me since I’m on the heavy side.
I have checked a website that sells single piece swimsuits. I’m surprised that Lime Ricki offers 3X sizes. It would better fit me, or I would go for size 4X.
Besides the simple yet stylish design, the swimsuits are made of comfortable materials. I’m glad they have this line for plus-size women. I could comfortably have fun in the sun with all the support I need to enjoy the beach.
This is good news for those who loves to travel. The Philippines has recently been awarded the ‘Safe Travels’ stamp by the World Travel and Tourism Council.
According to WTTC President and CEO Gloria Guevara, the Philippines is the 100th destination to be given an award. This means that “the 100 destinations are working together to help rebuild consumer confidence worldwide.”
The specially designed stamp enables travellers to recognise destinations around the world which have adopted health and hygiene global standardised protocols – so they can experience ‘Safe Travels’.
This landmark move by WTTC also received the backing of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
The safe travels stamp is now also being used by many more major holiday destinations such as the Maldives, Bermuda, Namibia, Uganda and Montenegro.
WTTC, which is based in London, represents the global travel and tourism private sector.
