Boracay Visitors be Mindful of the New Rules and Regulations While You’re in the Island

Boracay, the country’s major tourist destination, will have its soft opening next week. Boracay was closed last April to give way to the government program that would address the sewage and overcrowding problems that beset the island for so many years.

The Philippine resort island  is located in Malay, Aklan.

Environment and tourism officials vowed to implement new rules and regulations for the visitors to observe while staying in the island.

No Smoking Signs

When was the last time you visited a museum? Did you notice the no smoking signs? Are they still observed? Even if you are influential and puffing the popular alec bradley cigars, still smoking is a no-no inside museum premises.

Historical items and artifacts are painstakingly preserved by experts. The items are too old and could be sensitive to heat thus they are preserved in areas with cool temperature. Artifacts are not restored but preserved to appear the way they are found by excavators.

It’s not everyday that we see a hundred-year old artifacts, so please observe the no-smoking signs whenever you are visiting a museum.
